All UC Blue & Gold HMO1 members in the Bay Area have access to the Canopy Health network, encompassing some of the best hospitals and clinicians in the Bay Area. The MyCanopyHealth mobile app and portal offer digital tools that make accessing care easy.
Unlike a typical HMO plan where you can see only providers in the same medical group as your Primary Care Physician (PCP), as a UC Blue & Gold HMO member, you can access quality care from the Canopy Health network of more than 5,000 physicians, 69 urgent care centers and 21 hospitals2 in eight Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Solano,+,§ Sonoma,+ and San Mateo. You and your PCP will determine how to meet your needs. And if you need specialty care, your doctor can refer you to any specialist in the Canopy Health network. The Canopy Health network is expanding and recently added AHMC Seton Medical Center in San Mateo County.
In addition, UC Blue & Gold HMO members have access to a well-coordinated digital experience through MyCanopyHealth. MyCanopyHealth is designed to provide easy-to-use tools with a simple user experience. Access MyCanopyHealth from any smart device with the mobile app or through the online portal.
