Health Care That’s Available When You Need It

Your UC Blue & Gold HMO coverage offers a range of flexible health care options so you can get care when you need it. Log in or register to search the Health Net website to find doctors, urgent care centers and hospitals near you, including:

  • In-person care with your primary care physician (PCP). Appointments for everything from annual wellness checkups to treatment for ongoing conditions, and visits when you’re not feeling well. Plus, some Health Net PCPs and specialists also offer virtual appointments.
  • Behavioral health care. Therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists that provide treatment for a range of mental health needs, including substance use.
  • Virtual care. 24/7 video appointments for non-emergency care through Teladoc.1 (Scheduled appointments for behavioral health services are available 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific Time). Board-certified doctors can diagnose and treat minor illnesses and conditions, including sore throats, rashes and anxiety, and even prescribe certain medications if medically necessary.2
  • MinuteClinic. Health care services at select CVS stores staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants; perfect for when you can’t see your doctor and need non-emergency care. MinuteClinics are available throughout the U.S.
  • Urgent care. When it’s not an emergency, consider an urgent care center for coughs, earaches, back pain and injuries.
  • Emergency care. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Call 988 for emotional distress or for a mental health or substance use crisis.
