Keeping Your Heart Healthy

February is American Heart Month. It’s a month-long recognition that features strategies of how you can make healthy choices to help prevent cardiovascular (heart) disease. Cardiovascular disease generally refers to conditions that involve narrowed or blocked blood vessels that can lead to a heart attack, chest pain (angina) or stroke. It’s the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Every year, 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease.1

To acknowledge the importance of American Heart Month, Health Net presents the Keeping Your Heart Healthy webinar. We invite you to attend to learn the relevance of:

  • Cardiovascular conditions.
  • Risk factors for heart disease.
  • Heart health and sleep.
  • Reducing risk through lifestyle changes.
  • Myths of heart disease.
  • Numbers to know for heart health.
  • Heart healthy foods and exercise.
  • Managing stress.

The Keeping Your Heart Healthy webinar will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Pacific time (PT).

Don't forget, our monthly webinars are offered to all Health Net members and to the general public. Feel free to share this information with your friends and co-workers!
